Instructor Tom Hammerberg is an independent contractor and retired from the Automatic Fire Alarm Association in June 2017. He continues to present seminars nationally. Tom has been in the alarm industry for 45 years and was with AFAA for 23 years, serving as President/Executive Director and Director of Industry Relations. Tom is NICET Level IV certified in the field of Fire Alarm Systems and is a Certified Fire Protection Specialist.

AFAA Training Refund/Cancellation Policy – Please verify your membership status before completing your online training registration. Any online training registration transaction that requires a refund, will incur a $35 processing fee. If you have an open invoice for membership, you will not see member pricing for the training. Please contact our office in this case. If you need to reschedule/cancel your training registration, please do so 48 hours prior to the start of the training.
